Recreating the famous towering round arches from the Romanesque architecture that was a popular style in medieval Europe. 4,200 light pendants dangled in 12 semi-circular arches that are well modulated and geometrically logical, with one look you can see the repeating shapes, and proportions that make sense for an immense structure.
As of the surroundings, they were inspired by Japanese patterns. “Cloud” was created, a swirly metal structure with base shaped as S, and a wavy surface formed by repeated horizontal lines. Each cloud was meticulously engineered to stand-alone while weighing 300 kg. The clouds surrounded the hall in 260 linear meters, leaving the guests to feel as if they are in the middle of a sudden gust of wind.
