A Thousand Lanterns is a massive installation of an area equivalent to 1200 sqm.
To appreciate the beauty of the design, the viewer walks onto the stage from the back is gives a feeling akin to promenading through a copper steel bamboo forest.
The lanterns mingle with the bamboo columns and gradually emerge up and away from the stage. The viewer is made aware of the movement of the lanterns by their own movement on the walkway resulting in a completely immersive experience.
